Venue
The venue must be a safe work environment for health & safety reasons. An adult must always be present with the entertainer in case of an accident. It is the Customer's sole responsibility; also, we cannot work in front of doorways, we cannot work where people will be behind us.
Conduct
We retain the right not to carry out certain activities if we feel the children are too tumultuous or not responding appropriately. Therefore, we deem it unsuitable to carry out certain activities or stop the show altogether; it’s essential to know that if you, the client, have booked All Around Magic for a specific time and guests haven’t arrived on time, the entertainer/s cannot wait as the entertainers/s may have another booking to go to after, if for any reason you need the show to start a bit later due guests being late or any other reason additional costs may be incurred.
Parking
It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to provide parking; All Around Magic must be able to unload and reload all our equipment and be able to park as near to the venue as possible if there are parking restrictions that have made it difficult to be near the venue of you the Customers choice. The Entertainer/s have the right not to continue with the party; however, you, the Customer, will be expected to pay the remaining party balance as this would not be All Around Magic's fault. If any parking charges are incurred, you, the Customer, will be responsible for paying any parking charges.
Cancellation
Notice of a minimum of 48 hours is required for party cancellation. Cancellations made after this time will be subject to the full fee. It is with regret that all deposits are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you wish to cancel a party, notice must be written via email or phone. If a party must be cancelled on the day of the party, notice must be given before the entertainer has commenced travel. If, for any reason, you must cancel and don’t give notice before the entertainer has commenced travel, you, the customer, are expected to cover any travel costs in full plus the entire remaining balance.
Amendments
Please note that when booking, you are booking a specific time slot. If, for any reason, you require the time slot to be changed due to late arrivals or any other reason, this could incur further costs. It is with regret that All Around Magic cannot guarantee any changes to your original booking time as there may be another show pending, and this could lead to the performance being shorter, E.g. If you have booked for 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm and you ask All Around Magic to start at 1:30 pm or later the performance will still finish at 2:30 pm. This means you have proceeded to your performance time, which will be shortened. All date changes must be submitted in writing at least 3 days before the original date required. However, All Around Magic cannot guarantee the date can be changed due to another booking. We regret that we cannot guarantee a Change can be made, and your deposit will not be refunded as you agreed to the original booking date and time.
Payments
Unless you have already paid the balance in full, the remaining balance for the entertainment must always be paid in cash on the day to the entertainer/s. The remaining balance for a booking is payable to the entertainer(s) on the day before the entertainer commences work in cash. Please note entertainers cannot accept cheques, card payments or any other form of payment. We regret that the entertainer cannot be asked to wait for payment after the party as they may have to leave immediately to get to another booking.
Liability
Please note All Around Magic will not take responsibility for children causing damage to a venue or any property where the party is held. If you have younger children attending the party, we will ask that you please ensure that either the parent or an adult supervisor is there to look after them and prevent them from disrupting the party. By booking a party with All Around Magic, you understand that you will release us from any liability associated with accidents. This includes but is not limited to accidents occurring to any adults or children. You also release All Around Magic from any liability associated with accidents or damage caused to furniture, fixtures, fittings or property not belonging to All Around Magic; we reserve the right to cancel a party at any time before or during the party. This may include but is not limited to cancelling a party if we deem the venue unsuitable or if we feel that there are circumstances present that would be unsuitable to run a party.
Entertainers Requirements
We may need access to electricity. Usually, if the party is indoors, this will be no problem. If your party is outside, we would ask you to ensure there is access to electricity. If you use extension cables/leads for outside, the client agrees to accept responsibility for these. We cannot be responsible for not being able to provide activities that require electricity due to power failures or tripped circuits at the venue where we are operating. During the party, the customer must ensure at least one adult is present in the same room for the entire duration of the entertainment. This is in case accidents should occur, or children need to go to the toilet. For safety reasons, we regret that we cannot conduct the entertainment unless at least one adult is in the room the entire time. During our parties, we ask that no food or drink be provided during the actual entertainment, which might distract children from the entertainment while it is happening. For example, buffet food on a table for children to access should be given at our agreed break time.
Phone
We reserve the right to take no bookings from a withheld number. If anyone calls from a withheld number, we will refuse the booking and not engage with you as a potential booking.
